Description
I like this
This is impressive but perhaps slightly less well-balanced than either the Charmes or the Latricières
The 2013 vintage is characterized by a slightly more streamlined mouthfeel (which isn't saying much given the baseline enormity of these wines) with carefully etched aromas of black cherry
with 15% to 20% whole bunches in the ferment and 1% Viognier skins co-fermented
Vincent Girardin, Chambertin other_regions_italy I like thisWood spice and earthy fruit plus a healthy dose of reduction lead to sappy, intense and powerful flavors that possess arguably the best material in the entire range and explode on the hugely long finish. This is an impressive, even massive wine and very Chambertin as its youthfully austere and backward plus it should reward an extended stay in the cellar. (92 94) 2017+
